Large 10+" tablets seem to be what most vendors offer nowadays and its hard to find good tablets of this size - this one is one of the few 8" tablets you can still get and its really well built. There a some other 8" tablets available that seem to have usability issues, but this one just worked straight out of the box.

Rubber caps for the ports help ensure that it keeps water out - you might think that this causes problems recharging but it doesn't as the cap just swivels out to expose the port. It doesn't need recharging very often as it has a decent battery that lasts ages. The screen is nice and clear with good colour balance and sensitivity is good. Sound isn't the greatest but more than good enough.

The cameras aren't as sharp or fast as the best phone cameras you'll get on a high-end phone but they are adequate for most purposes and probably as good as any you'll get at this price point.

It uses a fairly stock modern Android 14 image with very little in the way of bloatware (hurrah!) so easy and intuitive to use. It comes with a small charger but you can use most USB chargers quite happily. I'm delighted with my purchase and use it most days.

After my son broke two tables, I decided to get a rugged on. I have this product for a while now and it works very well and so far, nothing happened to it, after being thrown of the top of the stairs (12 of them), drop of the table and stumped on it. The only sustained "damage" is the fact that is covered on stickers on the back.
I highly recommend it.
